In this gallery portfolio you can find few urban night pictures I took at the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, Valencia, Spain.
The summer season is very hot there, so the best moment to enjoy the beautiful architecture of this place, is at night. I was there visiting the city during my 2015 Spain trip, and this outstanding architecture really impressed me. Santiago Calatrava is one of my favourite contemporary architects.
The series consists in four urban night pictures of the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, with different angles and light.
The subject of the first image is the Hemisfèric, the light was off so I used the bridge to create an architectural frame and give more color and light to the picture.
I also personally like the one with the moon that seems to touch the bridge structure. As I wrote before, that evening not all the lights were turned on, but I had the moon that was very happy to be the protagonist of the scene.
