In this gallery portfolio you can see some of the best Aurora Borealis pictures I took in Lofoten Islands, Norway.
The Aurora Borealis (or Northern Light if you prefer) when it comes to photography, it’s a matter of luck! During my last travel in March 2016, I was very lucky and in 10 days I was able to see it 4 times.
The series starts with some pictures that I took the first time I saw that magnificent natural phenomenon. These are taken at the roadside, as you can see from the car in the foreground, no particular attention was given to the shooting process… I know that there are not the most beautiful kind of pictures you can have, but I love them. The fact is that they remember me the moment I saw “her” for the first time, and that was a life-changing experience for me and my wife.
There are also some pictures of the Aurora from the beautiful Skagsanden beach, here we took an enviromental couple portrait that made our day (or night).
The others are took on the road that leads to Henningsvaer, and near the Tsyfjord (with the moon).
